Introductions.

My first post in a literary blog. Hmm... now I can finally ramble on about writing and expect people to be *interested*.

Yippee!

That's a technical term, by the way. It means, "Wow, I can post what I want to write about and get ideas from other people!"
... or something like that.

Well, I guess I'll start with an introduction. I've written prose and poetry for almost twenty years now, and though I write far more poetry than prose, I'm the type of person who likes to communicate her thoughts to a typed page. When I'm working on something, want to look into something or just want some type of "sounding board" for my latest mental diatribe, I go to the keyboard and post some ideas for others to help me consider. It's become something of a habit even though I've historically not had too many responses from other writers; now that I've come here, I'm hoping that trend will change.

I'll be posting intermittently -- no promises about daily updates, but I figure I can expect to visit once a week or so. I'm also a member of the Poetry Free-For-All (henceforth "PFFA"), so that's where I'll be most of the time.

In the meantime: Cheers! I'm glad to be aboard.

Hello :)

Thanks! I'm glad to be here. It's the first opportunity I've had to simply sit down and talk about my writing in focus; up until this point, I've been doing that in LiveJournal, so it wasn't quite the same.

Hi Arshes

WELCOME and keep on keepin on. Nice work on the blog. Ha ha

Hello :)

Hi, Max -- thanks for the welcome. :) I'm looking forward to learning what I can from my readers here -- my own meanderings often help, but I'm hoping this will serve as something of a sounding board for my struggles with writing.
