Don't tell me about the citizens of this so-called Christian nation. In my years working for the federal government, I've never met one person, not one, that I couldn't buy lock, stock and barrel with money, sex and/or drugs. Here's the real face of the United States. And I'll bet they're perfect examples of every place where the two-faced human animal congregates.
1. NFL player Dante Stallworth, with a blood-alcohol level of .126, took his sports car for a late night spin and murdered a 59 year old construction worker with this weapon. One can get up to 15 years in prison for this; Stallworth got 30 days. The heart-broken family of the construction worker reached a confidential financial settlement with Stallworth. The justice system and this good Christian family didn't forgive Stallworth in the name of Jesus; they forgave him in the name of George Washington.
2. The governor of Florida spends a lot of time in corporate jets. The rules are that he is to pay the owners of these jets the price of a seat on a commercial airline. The good governor and his staff have refused to provide proof of payment so naturally some good citizens who are members of the opposite political party took this to the State Ethics Panel. This panel, all of which claim to be God fearing Christians and brothers and sisters in Christ said, "This panel does not have the authority to audit a situation just to examine innuendo or speculation."
Here's a pop quiz: Which political party are the members of this Ethics Panel comprised of?
A. The governor's party. - B. The party requesting the audit.
It's understandable and natural for birds of a feather to stick together. For a doctor, cop, teacher, politician, etc. to try and protect those in the same boat hoping they'll get the same protection if needed, but why pretend otherwise? The reason is religion.
If it weren't for the fact that Christians here, there and everywhere were hypocrites, the justice system would advertise as follows:

All Felonies: Life in prison or $100,000* and two years in prison.
All Other crimes: One year in prison or $1,000* and 30 days in prison.
