Osama Surge Working

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – (AP) There's been a surge in the number of homeless families in Massachusetts — a spike that has overwhelmed the state's shelter capacity and forced it to again place homeless families in motels. In just the past 12 months, the number of homeless families living in Massachusetts motels has skyrocketed from 17 in September 2007 to 550 in September 2008. That's on top of another 1,800 or so families in shelters. "You're seeing a perfect storm," said Robyn Frost, executive director of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.

For eight years knowledgeable men like Chalmers Johnson, Noam Chomsky and dummies like me have been screaming Bush, Cheney, and Blair are stealing you blind, but no one listened. They did what they always do, called the messengers alarmists, radicals, and theorists. So now I'm calling them stupid jackasses.

A member of the golf club I belong to says to me yesterday, "Hey, the Iraq War is a done deal. It's over. What do you expect me to do about it now, asshole?"

I replied, "Really. At last count there were more U.S. troops in Iraq than during the invasion. And as to what I expect you to do, I expect you to suffer and maybe even die this very afternoon, asshole."

He left and today I was told he resigned from the club. The treasurer of the club is now pissed at me. I can't lose for winning it looks like.
