I've done nothing that those I did business with wouldn't have done to me had they been in a position to do so. They were like pigs. Shoving and pushing to get to the deep end of the trough. I've had a better life that all the kings and presidents I know of, and I have not, and will not ever spend ten minutes in prison. All I have to do is close my eyes and off I go to my favorite place. It's a world that less than 1% of the citizens of the United States can afford to go. June 6th 2009
Bernard Madoff is a true North American capitalist. He made only one mistake. He should be deep in Venezuela eating pork and trading stories with President Hugo Chavez. Personally, I think he just wanted it over. Like he said, I've had a better life that all the kings and presidents I know of, and I have not, and will not ever spend ten minutes in prison. I believe this pork-eating Jew could be living it up in South America if he wanted to.
I can, nevertheless, relate to Madoff's statement. When the Secret Service locked me up for promising to blow Bush's brains out in 1990 if the occasion presented itself, I was never mentally locked up. I simply picked up pen and paper and went wherever I desired.
Like Madoff, I can't ever remembering wanting for anything I couldn't have if I'd really wanted it, and even though I've had several back surgeries and cancer, I've suffered less that anyone I know. With my 70th birthday coming up, I'll not live long enough to spend the money I've saved and I doubt that I'll live long enough to take all the cruises and tours that my Domestic Partner and I have pre-paid. My only regret is pissing off my college days playing golf and wasting time in pool halls playing nine ball. I deeply regret that I am without the credentials and ability to articulate as Chalmers Johnson and Noam Chomsky.
Kill me if you can,
