America is on an economic roller coaster ride and we want to get off. It is not dollars and cents that have us spiraling out of control; it is the magnitude of deceptions that have altered our perceptions. Marketing has given the corrupt minded the opportunity to own us. We have become slaves to the carnival mirrors of countless corrupt marketing schemes. We are a nation that has become extraordinarily attached to the adrenaline rush of free falling. Will we be able to stop this death defying fall before we reach the gates of hell?
We have become addicted to fast. We are living in an altered state, and our state of affairs has become an avalanche of short cuts and ulterior motives. There have been so many poor choices made in our national and worldly affairs that we don’t even recognize who we are anymore. We are no longer an American melting pot; we are an American blender on frappe.
In our terror, many have fallen off this plundering ride of deception, and many more are holding on for dear life. The pits of our stomachs and our ringing ears have brought us to this unprecedented challenge of how we can slow down this ride headed for Armageddon. Needless to say, if we do get off this mindtrap in one piece, we will be reeling for a very long time.
There is a great irony in the decline of our government. The faster we fall, the more disadvantaged we become. While the masses are begging for mercy, many leaders are putting the final squeeze on us with their snake like personalities and venomous bites. During the collapse of state and federal government, we are being governed by those that would paralyze us and kill us.
We are host for the great deceivers. The great deceivers have their pocketbook and our pocketbooks. They have the upper hand because they know that no one is enforcing laws to curtail corruption. It costs money to enforce laws and we are more than broke, we are broken. We are a broken nation; we have lost our values, our courage, our compassion, our commitment, and most importantly, our God.
We are tied to the apron strings of tyrants that bully us in the marketplace, workplace, schools, churches, and even in our homes.
American family life has become the main course for greedy mouths. We cannot recycle a family, we cannot have more than one childhood, and we cannot erase the great debt of selfishness we have enjoyed for far too long.
If our future is our children, why did we throw them away? If we value education, why are over one-third of our nation’s children dropping out of school? If we value quality, why are we being force fed ambivalence? If we value our rights, why are we not standing up for the rights of others? If we are a great nation, why are we cowering to evil?
This is not a Declaration of Independence, this is not an angry soul looking for revenge; this is a plea for us to come to our senses and at least save our children from this economic and spiritual war. Our young people are moving into a world with no jobs, and no future. This is not a story with a climax and a happy ending; this is a revolution for freedom.
Do you want our children to suffer the angst of working for employers that treat their workers like slaves with no rights? Think about it, if the job market is collapsing, where does that put the corrupt employer?
As I write, there are too many employers taking advantage of our economic twister. They think nothing of violating our freedom of expression and ability to earn. They alter our reality; we now have to survive without benefits, without healthcare, without overtime, without, without, without!
Without is the condition that too many Americans are in. It does not matter who started this economic war. What matters is what matters to us. If we care about our nation, we better turn off the reality networks, and focus on our reality. There is only one way to win, we must fight. We must fight for what is right at any cost. If we do not stand next to what is right, our great grandchildren will be learning about us in a world without freedom.
Get off the couch, disconnect the television and join a group that can address problems in your city. Spend less time on the computer and more time on restoring values in our country.
Get involved in our journey before our journey becomes our biggest nightmare! We are not exempt from the claws of evil. Can you hear the cries of children starving for freedom?
God has called us to be what he created us for, a voice in the wilderness. We can turn away from God, but God will never turn away from us. Be mindful of your purpose and there will be purpose in life.
America is not a scheme, America is a dream.

~LIGHT IN THE WILDERNESS~
Let me be a light in the wilderness
Let me be a light for all to see
I will go to the wilderness
Fall on bended knee
God’s love will be with me this glorious day
He is the song I sing
I will go to the wilderness
Be a light for the world to see
To hear the cries of Your children
To hear the cries of the poor
To hear the cries of the hopeless
To know that life can be much more, much more
Let me be a light in the wilderness
Let me be a light for all to see
I will go to the wilderness
Fall on bended knee
God’s love will be with me this glorious day
He is the song I sing
I will go to the wilderness
Be a light for the world to see
Teach me O’Lord to know Your mercy
Teach me O’Lord to know your way
Without You we are nothing
Without You we have lost our way
To hear the cries of Your children
To hear the cries of the poor
To hear the cries of the hopeless
To know that life can be much more, much more
Let me be a light in the wilderness
Let me be a light for all to see
I will go to the wilderness
Fall on bended knee
God’s love will be with me this glorious day
He is the song I sing
I will go to the wilderness
Be a light for the world to see
Be a light for the world to see
