Just wehn you thought you knew

Just when you thought you knew every worthless fact out there I have come to bring you one from a study I have been conducting.

Did you know the average bug attraction time to a white light at night is 3:29

While, the average bug attraction time to a yellow light at night is 4:24.

I have been conducting this study for two days now and have come to the conclusion that while white light is brighter and better for outdoor activity it is more likely to attract bugs at a faster rate than a yellow 60 watt bulb.

Also white light attracts male mosquitos ( the non-biting ones ) and yellow light attracts female mosquitos, ( the biting ones that use our blood for thier babies )

White light also attracts more moths than yellow light by almost three to one.

Hope you enjoy the info.

Something to do with...

I have recently found that there is really something to do with watching people. I am not saying to just sit and watch them with your eye but almost with some extra special sense like the all knowing "Minds Eye".

I have found that when I am sitting outside at the park or in the town square that there are the most interesting people there that I have ever seen. Once I get past the whole outside of that person and focus on what they are really about, what they are doing, how they go about doing it I really learn a lot.

All About Me.....

My Name is Shannon and I have been writing for the last nine-teen years, since the age of eleven. I have been known to write a number of things and have 16 poems published in a book titled, "Immortal Verse".

Currently I am working on a book and maybe I will put it in here if that option is avaliable to me. It is a fiction book and is geared towards teens and early adults, though I am sure a lot of other people will find it interesting enough as well.

I am also an artist and have been carving sandstone since the age of seventeen. I like all sorts of things and am not afraid to try something new. I mean how else will we know what we like or do not like if we never get outside of the little box we create for ourselves on a day to day basis?
