Proverbs 11

Proverbs 11
1 Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD,
But a just weight is His delight.

In looking at this verse, and knowing the economy, and how it is serving mammon, and isn't set up, so as to actually be equal; there is thought concerning a connection with global warning. Also this concerning how the letter to Laodicea is about lukewarmness, and with the truth about how people become what they worship- even their environment. But in the cartoon of Rudolph the red nose raindeer, the ending has the abominable snowman putting the star on the top of the Christmas tree. In the OT, there are references unto people worshiping idols, underneath green trees. And it is also very true that the Roman Catholic church is mixed with pagan beliefs, also being fed through Jezebel. In Amos, it talks about how people were worshiping the past men of God, through making idols of them. And this is also what the Roman Catholic church has done. Exalting Peter, and other men thought to be men of God. The belief of Santa Claus also has become common, even exalting him into a position that God has. This exaltation of Santa Claus is revealed through the nature that he is given in songs and stories. Going on from this, the December birth date of Jesus is not accurate, but is actually the birth date of the Roman sun God. Jesus was born six months after John the Baptist, who was born in the Spring. And with the knowledge of John the Baptist being Elijah who was to come, and with the Spirit of Elijah being the Spirit of Repentance, there is further knoweldge, concerning the Jews' Feast of Trumpets being near the birthdate of Christ. The view of Santa Claus that is taken, which is in place of the truth of God, leads into God being depicted, represented in a human manner that is not true- 'the old grandpa upstairs.' This is very much so coming through the humiliation that Jezebel exerts over men, God, and everything else.

The thought of having dishonest scales, is more then just having 'taxation without representation.' But is the very definition again, of serving mammon- not having equal trade, but making money, and setting the market in that manner.

The Hebrew word for just in this verse is 'shalem.' It comes from the word 'shalam' which means: to be safe; to be completed; by implementation to be friendly; by extension to reciprocate- make amends. The word 'shalem' means: complete; especially friendly- full, made ready, peaceable, perfect, quiet, whole.

The Hebrew word for weight in this verse is 'eben,' which comes from the word 'banah' which means: to build. 'Eben' holds the same meaning, but in the definition of a rock.

The Hebrew word for delight in this verse is 'ratsown' or 'ratson' which comes from the word 'ratsah' which holds the emphasis of self reconciliation or affection. The word 'ratsown' or 'ratson' has an emphasis of 'what would show forth delight.'

It may be derived, how it is possible to have just scales. Isn't that the claim of nearly all who serve mammon anyways? How is it possible, to still have an economy and delight, without serving mammon? The weight is Christ. The word glory is also connected symbolically to weight. And therefore also, in interpretation, there will be glory, when Christ is the weight, and justly. Justice does not always mean judgment, though it does mean that. It more means, in Christ, the appropriation of all that He gives.
