Conquest: "Because of Mystery I am actually happy to not need any kind of unreal basis for anything anymore. But within that, mystery actually compels me through love to look at things in a different light. She both fulfills me, and protects me, regarding seeking God and love. To me, there is no otherside, everything is the LORD waiting to happen. Someone posed a question to me a little while back, asking me "What was before God?" I answered wrong in saying "Nothing." He told me the real answer was "There is no question." I want that kind of blanket of security in my life regarding the Lord, and regarding everything about Him, especially at His Coming. Morrison spoke about 'the doors of perception,' and I think there is something to that. I believe that perception can make or break you. I question myself, thinking "Do the stars twinkle, when looked at from space?" And I think about how the earth's atmosphere changes our perspective, versus viewing space from space. I believe that the atmosphere is likened unto our sphere of influence, and the things that are going on in our lives, and how our perspective is conditioned by that. I tend to believe that we need the earth's atmosphere for survival, and this leads me to also back up what I do regarding 'the otherside,' as mentioned in the RHCP's song "Otherside." I believe that having the atmosphere and 'the otherside' really enables us to take care of one thing in a certain parameter, freeing our lives so that we may able to take care of certain other things in another parameter, which is also like the RHCP's song "Parallel Universe." To me, 'parallel universes,' in our lives, enable us to really prioritize our lives, and at the same time it gives boundaries to us so that everything in our lives doesn't mix together without having the preparation done that would allow our lives to not become chaos. For instance, I think about the episode of Seinfeld where Kramer was trying to tell Jerry that George needed his girlfriend to not become a part of his inner circle of friends because worlds would collide."
