If bitten, I believe that the front of the snake is Satan, as with it's bite, and that the back of his head where the spot of the cobra is, is the sons of God and the poison, just as the wideness of the snake's head is where the poison is. In this way also, the rattle of the rattle snake would be the sons of God while the head of the rattle snake would be Satan. Satan's 'hallmark' attack plan is like a magician who uses one hand to distract and then comes around. So the distracting hand would be Satan, while the hand that comes around would be the sons of God and the tail of the Dragon. In this, as with the Cobra's strike and the '3-D' picture, Satan's first offensive goal is to inflict with himself and the sons of God in oneness. The testimony of the hawk shows that we can do more than just convince ourselves, but that we can anticipate and completely prevail, even going beyond salvation, unto having Promises, as with marriage and things that are icing on the cake; just as Isaiah Promises with the hawk and it's mate. On top of this, the kingdom of darkness is divided, just as it has no real unity, as anarchy and destruction can not reign, or else they fight against themselves; which is what happened with the enemies against Gideon and Jehoshaphat. Our first goal then would be to not get bitten, but to also then prevail, shall we be bitten, as through the Promises of God, thereby also fulfilling the overcoming of Smyrna. If we suffer in our testing, as with the poison of the serpent, Satan's attack includes wearing us out, as we have to then defend against Satan and the sons of God separately, as after first being bitten, and then having to deal with getting bitten again, and overcoming the poison in us.
