The unthinkable

In balancing what is good and evil, and in sowing unto incorruption- unbelief, doubt, and willful sin can come in. Even though those who are born again are incorruptible inwardly, and are given incorruptible promises of God. Even though Paul shows how in being born again, that willful sin is not from who we are inwardly. And even though John shows in 1 John how we may be forgiven of all of the willful sin that is in our body. Firstly, the fear of the LORD shows us, how we can be with God one day, and then apart from Him the next. As is the example of David with Bathsheba, and also as is the example of Solomon, and also is the fullness of willful sin, which is shown in Esau, and in John's words in his letter- as someone is said to have not 'really' ever been with Him: being an unprofitable servant, and in being the double vessel, where the talent goes to him who has, and the vessel of dishonor goes into perdition. Secondly, the example of Ishmael, Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar show the unthinkable happening. It was not that marriage wasn't so sacred back then. Or that it can't be eternal. Actually, apart from the Law, the Bible says that sin is not imputed, though it still was present. Why did God still judge? Because what did people do, when sin wasn't imputed?

The unthinkable is found, in how Paul called himself a prisoner of Jesus. Even though also, much of the NT is about being free in the Spirit. Job called himself a prisoner of hope. The definition of a bondservant, is that someone willfully makes themselves, in love, a servant. And this is duly done, so that they may fully hold themselves accountable to the one they love, and be fully dependent upon them. Gentleness comes before self-control, but what is happening, concerning the unthinkable? Even if we have incorruptible promises of God, how can the unthinkable still deter us? Because for one, we don't fully know how our promises are going to come, and what they are going to come through. We must ask, seek, knock, and the like, and also not just in fear. For much of what happened with Job, came through his fears (Job 3:25). So, even with being a new creature, we are also vulnerable, in being in a position, where we may take advantage of hope, and incorruption. And this is also the definition for the cleft. And if we turn our attention, and our focus, unto works, as if their presence, and focus will save us- we fall away from grace. Even though works perfect faith. For the works of God, are that we believe in Him. And that is being spiritual, and from there, come our promises, and our way, truth, and life.

But God offers more grace:

James 4:6
He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

“ God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble."

What is humility? It is believing that it is His good pleasure to give us the kingdom. An example of truly having self-control, and truly being a prisoner of hope, incorruption, and God, is in not being able to do the unthinkable. This is like the saying "I just couldn't...." Regarding not being able to do evil. At the end of the movie "Ice Age 2" the tiger couldn't jump into the water, no matter how hard he tried (though he was able to do it after). But this is just an example. And we shouldn't be trying to sin. But still there is the problem, of the sin which entertains the unthinkable. One translation of the Bible, concerning the time in which the paralytic was brought before Jesus, and the Pharisees said He blasphemed, forgiving the man; one translation says, of what Jesus said in return, perceiving their thoughts: "Why do you entertain evil?" Even with this admonishment, how can we truly not take advantage of freedom, hope, and incorruption? Even if our taking advantage of it, doesn't lose us, our going to heaven? Because we do have to soberly deal still, with the sin that is in our body. Whether in temptation, desire, sin, or death (James 1:14-15).

What is going on with this, is a problem that is impossible to solve. Because the promise of God, is sure and steadfast. And it is impossible, that it not happen. Even if any unprofitable servants fall away, the talent still goes to him who has, and comes to pass. Darkness lies, and seeks that we entertain the thoughts that question the infallibility of God. For God can not lie, and He has also even taken an oath on top of that. His Word is sure, and so is His Promise. What He says will come to pass, and all that He does will not be vain. Abraham and Sarah still received Isaac, but how can we ensure that we won't have any 'Ishmael's?' This is why we treat darkness as a non existent thing, according to the desires of our heart, and promises. And this is why we treat the outward corruption as willful sin, so that it never comes to overcoming us.

So darkness wants us to concern ourselves with what is impossible. As they give 'what ifs.' And on top of this, darkness also gives 'what ifs,' also that we may concern ourselves with what is impossible- regarding us being saved, after doing the unthinkable. Because the unthinkable has it's ends, in not only doing the unthinkable, but in never being able to fully be redeemed afterwards. And this is why Peter said:

1 Peter 3:15-16
sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16 having a good conscience

Even as the full salvation of God is being revealed, and this in increasing knowledge, and the revelation and salvation of Jesus Christ in this last time- there could arise the problem, as if with the abundance of awesomeness that is given through the gift of God, that there could be even more problem with sinning against it. But this is where the truth is, of what Paul said, about how where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more. And not so that we can take advantage of grace, or entertain doing the 'unthinkable,' but so that we may keep His promises.

The yoke and burden of God is easy and light, because it is love. But also because it gives us to elevate the spiritual, and sow to it, as it also is what is sincere and true, and with right substance; and then from God be given what is physical. This is beyond believing that we are saved by works. What happens when the pressure rises, is that sin also tries to relieve itself, and remain lukewarm, by offering to achieve through works. Therefore what is easy, and light, and spiritual, is the desires of our heart, given as we also delight in the LORD. Knowing that it is His good pleasure to give us the kingdom, and also we delight in Him, knowing He is a God of love, and Promises, and true glory, praise, and worship- wanting His creation to be like Him, and not merely attempt to worship Him, as if wanting nothing. What we shouldn't want, is corruption, and vanity.
