As a Republican, I just want to gag when I hear the sociopaths in our party talk about family values. Oh, I understand why. Even though the Christian Fundamentalists know the truth, if you want their money and vote, you'd better convince them that you believe the Jonah and the whale story. But just for a second, let's not listen to one of Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson's old speeches; instead consider the #1 rule for discovering why people do the things they do, and that is "Follow the money".

To My Honorable Republican Representatives
Summary: Political Burials
Dear Republican Representatives: As a registered Republican and a wholesaler of top quality caskets and handcrafted urns, it is my profound pleasure to offer each of you, at my cost, the casket or urn of your choice to bury your political careers in.
Not in the history of the Republican Party have Republicans elected to county, state and federal offices come together as one body to exhaust every possible avenue of misappropriation of public funds, to show total disregard for international and domestic laws, and commit and/or condone war crimes and acts of genocide as you have.

Burying McCain Before He's Dead
That's right; McCain, you and your George W. Bush policies are going to be buried alive. Republicans like me who served in Vietnam where I was shot down not once, but twice, know you can't balance a checkbook. We know that you know nothing about keeping America safe because you couldn't even keep yourself safe. You lost your aircraft, got captured, and never once tried to escape or help any fellow POWs escape for five years, clearly ignoring Article III of the United States Military Code of Conduct.

Where Have All The War Jobs Gone?
The Iraq war has cost us all a great deal. In terms of the taxes, we’ve paid heavily towards invading Iraq needlessly, and we continue to pay towards the ongoing war effort. In terms of the economy, we’ve paid the price thanks to NAFTA and service contract outsourcing. In terms of human lives, we’ve paid the price with our young adults. But from the wreckage of Iraq and the disaster of an invasion that took place initially, the advantages of war have been cast to foreign shores, diverting jobs from the struggling US employment market to the detriment of the economy.

Warmongers Have A New Plan
WASHINGTON - Gaining ground this political season is a proposed League of Democracies designed to strengthen support for the next president's overseas agenda and ensure a global leadership role for the United States.
John McCain, the virtually certain Republican presidential nominee, has endorsed the concept of a new global compact of more than 100 democratic countries to advance shared views and has discussed the idea with French and British leaders.
"It could act where the U.N. fails to act," he said last month, and pressure tyrants "with or without Moscow's and Beijing's approval."
Analysts at think tanks in Washington and elsewhere envision a league focused on maintaining peace and limiting U.S. military intervention, such as the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.

Two Dangerous Men
It is most appropriate that George W. Bush and John McCain are meeting behind closed doors because that's where the two Bush terms were won. But we must remember not to attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. The good news is, what these two lack in leadership and integrity is made up for in arrogance and pig-headedness.

The Trinity – A Liar, A Coward and A Mad Chihuahua
In a world where there was an ounce of justice, nearly every word that's come out of the mouth of the mass murderer in the Oval Office would be more than reason enough to sentence him to be hung by the neck until he was dead.

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." -G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

Celebrating the Assassination of Dr. Martin L. King Jr.
I really liked Dr. King. I only met him once, but as Edward, one of the two guys who joined me to watch this event unfold said, "King had more courage and integrity in his toenails than most of those gathered at this event. There's no doubt about it; that hypocrite John McCain not only voted against honoring Dr. King's birthday, but wouldn't have allowed him to drink out of his birdbath."
