Quiet so quite
Tears running down my face

Tears being shed tears of joy and of shame
Forgive words echoing in the darkness
Then silence and then a breath taken
I stand before you
Pleading, begging, waiting
the silence endless

A silent question echoing in the darkness
The darkness and silence deafing in the stillness
My heart pounding in fear, unable to breath waiting
Please so softly I whisper the words
I am so sorry
