To Each His Own Crap

"It is easier to dominate a large crowd than a small audience. The adhesion of the crowd is tumultuous, summary, and unconditional. Once the suggestions have taken effect, the crowd does not readily tolerate contradiction from a small minority, and still less from isolated individuals. A great multitude assembled within a small area is unquestionably more accessible to panic alarms, to unreflective enthusiasm, and the like, than is a small meeting, whose members can quietly discuss matters among themselves." - Wilhelm Roscher

The Hitler Influence

Summary: Unless Americans want to upgrade from the Iraq War to WWIII they had better see to it that McCain is not elected.

WASHINGTON – On Friday, Republican presidential candidate John McCain sharply denounced a Supreme Court decision that gave suspected terrorist detainees a right to seek their release in federal courts.

Voters, I personally know John McCain and I can assure you that, unlike George W. Bush, he doesn't have a Big Oil agenda--his agenda is one of hate. Do not worry about his problem with cancer; worry about his mind that's been altered by P.T.S.D. and a hatred that's bone marrow deep.

A Nation of Mooches

"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it." --Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, October 3, 2001, to Shimon Peres, as reported on Kol Yisrael radio.

Worthy of U.S. Congress

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich defied his party leadership on Monday by calling for the impeachment of U.S. President George W. Bush for launching the Iraq war--but his move was not expected to go anywhere.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly said she opposes trying to remove the Republican president who leaves office next January because such an attempt would be divisive and most likely unsuccessful.
