The Art Of War As Told By A Modern-Day Teenager - Chapter 4

     It's not what HE sees.

If both your opponent and you feel too weak to continue your fight, boast about feeling strong. This will weaken your opponent's spirits and boost yours, both at the same time. By saying it, if your opponent still tries to attack you, adrenaline will kick in and help you to fight. More than likely, however, your opponent will think you have crazy good stamina and retreat, for fear of being destroyed by you.

     Diagnose yourself with perfection.

Train with enthusiasm and if you don't already enjoy training, then you probably shouldn't be fighting. However, if you're earnest about your fight, make yourself believe you enjoy it by telling yourself you like it while you're doing it, and cause yourself to feel happy. Also, smiling makes it easier to elicit happy feelings. When you train, make yourself feel happy and smile.

Keep your opponent moving towards self-preservation.

Cut off all of your opponent's supplies. Everyone needs proper nutrition to function correctly. Destroy your opponent's water supply, perhaps by busting his drains- this is one of the most important things you can do. A person can live about 40 days without food as long as they have water, but no one can last two weeks without water. If there are pipes leading to your opponent's home, break them. Even if your opponent has them rebuilt or gets water from another source, they will need to pay extra to get those things done. That right there is money and effort that is not going towards fighting you.

Whatever your opponent clings to, rip it out from him or twist it.

The more trust people have in you, the easier it is to rip them off. The more you rip someone off, the more likely they are to not challenge you, or, the less likely they are to leave you alone, In some circumstances this may work to your disadvantage. If you rip someone off or do something that would break someone's trust, don't let them catch you, or you won't be put back in the same situation you had.
